Sometimes when you’re in a dark place, you might think you’ve been buried, but you’ve actually been planted. Christine Caine

I know no one wants to hear these words: “You have to embrace the pain, look at it and don’t judge or comment.” The thing is, there is no shortcut; you have to go through it.

You grow when you stop asking questions. Scanning the whys, causes, blame for your emotional discomfort, sadness, or anxiety is not the appropriate way. Instead, you have to shift your gaze from the problem to something that, right now, is blossoming inside you.

The seed that takes root in the earth and becomes a sprout, and a flower, does so without asking why. There is no need to wonder what to do with our lives, no need to wonder whether we are doing well or not. Instead, we need to listen to our inner world and to what is moving spontaneously.

We must allow ourselves to be overrun by silence and wait: only in this way will our nature and our capabilities emerge and guide us where we need to go. And when you desire something, don’t say anything to yourself: never strive for it. Instead, take the desire to a silent, secret place within yourself, and think no more about it.

Then things will spontaneously find their way.
