What creates self-esteem?

How can we not be aware of the wealth we possess? How can we fail to see our talent? Too many questions, I know.

One possible answer is that spontaneity is the only key to activate our inner resources, in other words, our psychological talent, which has a deep connection to self-esteem. Now the word self-esteem, if we must be honest, it’s one of the most unhappy words that we have created because it’s based on our judgment. Esteem is also the word used with antique objects. How much is a particular piece of furniture worth? Let’s have it valued.

To esteem oneself means to assess oneself. But the judgement of oneself is always something unhealthy. Therefore, no creature in the cosmos except the human being makes judgements about its abilities, talents and inclinations. So who am I to tell myself whether I am good or not?

One’s talent is a natural inclination that each person possesses, just as, for example, the spider makes a web and something it knows how to do, or the caterpillar becomes a butterfly, or the bee builds its hexagonal cell.

What does limit our talent for doing things naturally? Thinking. Talent is an inclination that we all have and is a natural process. We need to eliminate the cliché that we can only express talent when we are young. In the same way, we need to understand that as we get older, we learn to speak our essence better and learn not to tell ourselves how to be. Why should this come naturally to us? Talent is that thing we know how to do without ever having learned it.

Our soul makes us fail to sweep away our wrong goals because they are not the right goals. Sometimes failure, especially in the psychological field, happens not because we are not capable but because we are doing things that are unnecessary to our nature.
